Description
An optical contact-angle goniometer captures and analyzes images of liquid droplets on a solid surface to measure contact angle and assess wettability. It helps evaluate surface cleaning and treatment, coating and adhesive preparation, and the wetting behavior of films and other materials. With suitable test liquids and analysis software, contact-angle measurements can also be used to calculate solid surface energy.
